Our guest speaker today was Ms. Shelley Nickel, the Executive Director of Georgia Student Finance Commission which is responsible for promoting and increasing education for students beyond high school to all Georgians by providing scholarships, grants and loan programs. In sharing with us about Georgia's HOPE scholarship program, Ms. Nickel highlighted the following points:
Attendance today included no visitors and 19 members.

| June 29th | The Honorable Bobby Baker, Chairman of the Public Service Commission |
President Lantz expressed thanks to the several Kiwanians who attended the Evaluation meeting which was held at Ronni's place. Ray said that Club improvement may result from increasing diversity, inviting auxiliary groups to meetings, and giving more explanations about Club activities and projects. Praises were given to Ronni and George as delegates to International Convention and Georga, Jim, Ronnie, Antje, and Ray as delegates to the District Convention. President Lantz noted that an updated Directory will be made available very soon.
With every Kiwanian being in proper attire, our compassionate Mel trotted smilingly all the way to the bank.
A leave of absence excuses a member from attendance requirements but does not eliminate the dues required for membership.
